Today the PM gave a formal apology to the Indigenous people here in Australia for all the horrible things that have happened since European settlement.
Gotta say, I was emotional.
Sitting first in my car listening to it on the radio then on my couch by the TV, I was crying and clapping and just feeling sad and glad and like maybe changes really will happen.

How exciting, happy 40th post!!
It was a moving day - I thought he did a great job, and I'm so glad it finally happened.
This must have been an incredible day for you. I live over in America, and sadly I have to admit that I heard nothing about this today. I wish to celebrate this apology with you though.
